MARTI HINES began her career in the film industry as an event producer with the Sundance Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival, Film de Cannes, and Sir Sidney Poitier's 90th Birthday Tribute. Over the past decade Marti Hines has positioned herself has a standout independent event producer for filmmakers, celebrities,and politicians. Her transition to film producing and directing has been a seamless one. Her first producer role with the short film Stages premiered at the 2015 Palm Springs Film Festival and later that same year She co founded the production company Dique Pic Productions which focuses solely on content created by women of color. In 2016 she produced on her directorial debut of the feature film die Expats which found its home with Amazon Prime. Her sophomore project Paper Friends, another strong ensemble piece was filmed the summer of 2018 in NYC and is set to premiere on BET this summer. The relationships that she has cultivated throughout her career continue to grow stronger as she takes on each exciting new venture.
